0:11 Speaker 1: I'm really good. I mean it's great heaving you on, thanks for having me. So for the last month or so, we've been playing your song slow Ried. I mean like NonStop basically. I mean it's been on like twice every show and four hour shows it's been on three times, and on to our shows it's been on twice. It is an absolutely brilliant song. And I mean the way I found you was through that whole Jennifer Coolidge thing. I mean that was just mental. But that's not what we had to talk about. We're you had to talk about your music.

0:37 Speaker 1: So can we talk a little bit about Slow Ride first? Though obviously a new single came out on Friday, but we'll get to that very very shortly. So what was like what how did you get the idea for it?

0:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, slow Ride? I was really inspired by Olivia Dean while I.

0:54 Speaker 3: Was writing, and I was kind of in this like relationship where I was really excited about the person, and they were very they were very good about taking things slow and getting to know each other. And it was difficult because I wanted to just like dive in. But anyway, so those two things kind of happened at the same time.

1:14 Speaker 4: I was like really inspired by Olivia Dean and listening to a lot of her music, and then that was happening to me personally, and so that's kind of how so Ride came about.

1:23 Speaker 1: As a really really good song. I mean, obviously, as I said, we've been playing up with Pete, So do you want to enter this a for us?

1:47 Speaker 3: I think I've been working a lot in my life of realizing that, you know, a lot of times things aren't good or bad, Like nothing in life really is black or white, and so this song is kind of just about that, where like sometimes you can be in a situation and it might not necessarily be right, but it doesn't mean that it's wrong, And it's kind of like holding on to that and kind of making space for the gray in between and finding the beauty and the hopefulness within that.
